The Shakespeare By The Sea Festival is a theater company in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, that specializes in the works of William Shakespeare.

The company was founded in 1993 by Aiden Flynn and Danielle Irvine and has been under the artistic direction of Jennifer Deon since 1995. The company's main event is an annual outdoor Shakespeare festival that runs throughout the months of July and August. Performance locations have ranged from the cliffs of Logy Bay and the courtyard of the Murray Premises to the bunkers of Signal Hill and the stones of Topsail Beach. The Festival's current primary venue is the Cabot 500 Theatre in Bowring Park, with alternate or secondary locations announced seasonally.

2008 marks the 15th anniversary of the company, featuring productions of Much Ado About Nothing, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Antony and Cleopatra, and a return of the double-bill of H. P. Lovecraft's The Rats in the Walls and Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask of Amontillado.
