Shahpura is a city and a municipality in Jaipur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Shahpura was the Thikana of Shekhawat Sub clan. It was the head seat (Tikai Thikana) of Shekhawat's Dheer singh.

As of 2001 India census[2], Shahpura had a population of 28,170. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%.
