[edit] History
During Valentino's tenure as the publisher of Image Comics, the studio was inactive. After Erik Larsen took over as the publisher, ShadowLine was reactivated. Today, it publishes Jim Valentino's properties, as well as properties owned by other creators that Jim Valentino happened to like.[citation needed]
In December 2007 ShadowLine announced a contest for writers to submit a submission for a three-issue limited series featuring an all-new, creator-owned superheroine, to be pencilled by Franchesco!. On April 10, 2008, Tom Arguello was declared the winner for his entry, Incredible Journey.
