His full name was Maulana/Mawlana/Allama/Shaykh al-Islam[2] Shabbir Ahmad Usmani/Uthmani.[3]

He is one of the greatest freedom leader of Pakistan. The funeral of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was done in his imamat.

Shikh-ul-Islam Hadrat Allama Shabbir Ahmed Usmani RA the student of Sheikh-ul-Hind Hadrat Maulana Mehmood-ul-Hassan RA was a great Writer a great Politician and a great Saint. He was born on 7th Muharram l3O4 A.H.(1885 A.D.) in U.P.(INDIA). The greatest work of Hazrat Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani is the Tafseer of the Holy Quran in Urdu language known as Tafseer-e-Usmani. Tafseer-e-Usmani is the essence of thirteen or fourteen famous Tafaseer, called as short but comprehensive tafseer in Urdu language. He was also one of the Builders of Pakistan. The inauguration of the National flag of Pakistan and Constituent Assembly was done by him on the wish of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jainnah RA. He died in 1949 and was buried at Karachi.
