Shabana Kisii
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shabana Kisii was a Kenyan football club based in Kisii. The club was formed in 1980. They used to play in the Kenyan Premier League, but were relegated after the 2005-2006 season. They were set to play in Nationwide League, the second level tier in Kenya, but refused to participate insisting they belong to the Premier League (who did not readmit them). As a result, the club did not participate any league in 2007.
Their home stadium was Gusii Stadium.
The clubs helped to produce some of Kenya's best players such as:
- Henry Motego
- Henry Nyandoro
- Mike Okoth
