Shabab Yemeni is an independent, non-partisan youth newsletter that was established in May 2004 as a response to the needs of Yemeni students living abroad.

  • Increase awareness among Yemeni youth and share knowledge and experiences
  • Highlight and bring attention to youth activities inside and outside Yemen
  • Instill confidence in Yemeni youth to create positive change in their society

[edit] About the Team

Shabab Yemeni started with four editors, but currently 10 active team members direct the newsletter. The newsletter's structure consists of Permanent and Alternating Editors, Marketing Director, Technical Director, Recruitment Director, Creative Director, and an Editor-in-Chief. Shabab Yemeni invites interested Yemeni youth to join their team and to share their expertise and knowledge on a regular basis as guest editors.

Shabab Yemeni publishes a new issue on the first day of every month. The articles cover a variety of topics mainly about social, economical, educational, and scientific issues concerning youth in general and yemeni youth in specific. The newsletter also has a section for special talents such as art and photography.
