The Shaastra Online Programming Contest is an algorithm intensive programming contest for collegiate contestants from around the globe.
The first edition of SOPC was in 2006. A total of above 400 teams had registered for the contest. The SOPC 2006 format was also very innovative with two trial rounds preceding the actual contest.
