Shaarei Shomayim

Shaarei Shomayim Congregation, located in mid-town Toronto, Canada, is a modern orthodox centre of Jewish life. The shul is within the community eruv. The synagogue was first established in 1928 at 563 Christie Street. Its name given at the time was the Hillcrest Congregation. The Shaarei Shomayim membership is approximately 700 family members. The current rabbi is Richard Vale.
