Founded in 1982, Sha Tin Public School (沙田公立學校) provides both primary and secondary education to the mentally challenged students aged between 6 and 18.
Its campus, located in Tai Wai Shatin, consists of 6 buildings. Among them, there are 11 classrooms, a library, an indoor function room, a kitchen, a design and technology room, a music room, a language therapy room, a computer room and a clinic. There are also outdoor playground and carpark.
52 staff has the capacity to take care of 240 students in 12 grades with approximate 20 students per class.
