Sha'arei Tikva (Hebrew: שערי תקוה, lit. Gates of Hope) is a communal Israeli settlement located at an elevation of 200 metres north-east of Rosh HaAyin and one kilometre east of the Green Line near Elkana in the western Samarian section of the West Bank. Founded in 1983 through a government decision, the first residents moved to the new village in 1985. Its current population is now about 4,500 people in about 1,200 families. The village is run by a local committee under the umbrella municipal jurisdiction of the Shomron Regional Council. The head of that committee is Gideon Idan.
