The disambiguation page gives several meanings for "Shōwa", therefore the correct title should be "Showa", but I can't seem to move this page, even if I remove the existing redirect page at "Showa" completely.
"Shouwa" is an incorrect spelling using wapuro romaji.

Moved it. The previous Showa had no history beyond redirects, so there is no loss of useful information or GFDL-mandated attribution. — Gwalla | Talk 23:24, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
Somebody moved it back to the Unicode name. Don't know why, no reason / vote or anything like that. Returning this page to Showa. freshgavin TALK 05:13, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
