Sgula
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sgula (Hebrew: סגולה, also transliterated Segula) is a moshav north of Kiryat Gat in south-central Israel. Its neighbors are Nahla and Menuha. It belongs to the Yoav Regional Council.
The moshav was founded in 1953 by native Israelis. Its name may have been taken from the Book of Exodus 19:5. In the context of that verse, "segula" means "special treasure" or something similar.
