Fair use rationale: This image has been used in connection with several major websites' description of this album, and meets the United States criteria for "fair use," as follows.

 1. Purpose or character of use: it was used as the cover of a non-commercial recording, and has been used prior to Wikipedia on hundreds of websites.
 2. Nature of copyrighted work: two musical albums that were combined to make the new record. In particular, the Beatles' cover itself used images that were copyrighted and not cleared by the photographers; instead, they used the permission of the people who were photographed.
 3. Amount and substantiability: Used large portions as a work of satire.
 4. The effect of use upon the potential market of copyrighted work: None.
Furthermore, meeting Wikipedia's own established criteria, this work (a) illustrates the object in question, (b) has no free equivalent that would adequately give the same information, and (c) is hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation.
