Sfinksen Nunatak

Sfinksen Nunatak (72°18′S, 3°47′W) is a nunatak about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Pyramiden Nunatak, at the southwest end of Ahlmann Ridge in Queen Maud Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949-52) and named Sfinksen (the sphinx).
