- Hi! I'm totally biased; I love Escape Pod completely, so I'll help you out with the deletion discussion on Pseudopod (podcast) if I can. The guideline they're using is WP:WEB; it requires "multiple, nontrivial, independent sources." It's going to be tougher with Pseudopod to establish notability than it was with Escape Pod, just because it's such a new podcast, and so many of the sources talking about it are blogs- blogs aren't worth much as sources at Wikipedia; they really prefer something with fact-checking editors. I went searching and haven't found the sources that would save the article yet, but I'm sure you are more familiar with who's writing about you than I am. (PS I did save Escape Pod from deletion today, but that one is easy to prove notability for.)-FisherQueen (Talk) 01:24, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I deleted Pseudopod (podcast) as I didn't see evidence in the discussion of the notability per our guidelines that FisherQueen mentioned above and most of those suggesting this be kept were asserting it met the guideline without demonstrating how it actually did. As I said in my closing notes though, I'm willing to consider sources if you have any that would demonstrate how it meets the guidelines. If it doesn't currently meet them, but you get enough press in the future and can show how it meets the guidelines at a later date, I can always undelete the article for you to save you the trouble of complete recreation (or I'm willing to bet FisherQueen would do that for you as well).
