[edit] Death date
Date of death is from Encyclopedia Iranica. It's often given as 1961. --Cam 16:04, 18 May 2006 (UTC) Dear sir/madam, Please add Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Kazemeyni Borujerdi to your list. I can send you his Biography. Regards S.Z.
[edit] "agrarian destruction"?
Ayatollah Borujerdi passively opposed the Pahlavi regime's agrarian reforms, which he called "agrarian destruction."
Were not the White Revolution land reforms of the Shah announced in 1963 January? Borujerdi died in 1962. --BoogaLouie (talk) 00:21, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- In researching your question I found out that the Encyclopedia Iranica is wrong about the year of death. The New York Times and Time Magazine [1] both reported Borujerdi's death in 1961. --Cam (talk) 02:09, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
