I just added this article, because I think it is conceptually crucial in feminist theory. I am not really sure about its history. I am hoping that someone at some point who knows the history of the concept can add who coined the term as its used today and a few comments about its role in feminist history.--Agnaramasi 01:40, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree it is an important discussion, my question about is is wether attribution of a certain sexual orientation or gender is an essential property? --RickardV 09:44, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
