Sex and Death 101 is a 2007 dark comedy written and directed by Daniel Waters set for release in the United States in April 4th, 2008. This film marks the reunion of writer-director Daniel Waters and Winona Ryder, who previously worked on 1989's Heathers, written by Waters.

Roderick Blank's life is turned upside down when he receives an email with the names of all the people he's had sex with in the past and will have sex with in the future. He becomes obsessed with the list, falls in love with a woman not on the list. Things then take a fatal turn courtesy of Ryder's femme fatale Death Nell a woman who enjoys near-fatal trysts with her love partners along with the intent on punishing all men she finds guilty of sex crimes against women.

The film received generally negative reviews from critics. As of April 4, 2008, the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported that 23% of critics gave the film positive reviews, based on 30 reviews.[1] Metacritic reported the film had an average score of 26 out of 100, based on 10 reviews.[2]
