[edit] Move "Category:Statutory rapists" into this category
There's a separate category for statutory rapists. I think it belong here.
Currently, there are seven sub-categories:
* Child pornography * Child sexual abuse * Incest * Rape * Rapists * Roman Catholic Church sex abuse scandal * Sex offenders
Also, I think there should be a separate category for sexual criminals. This would make this category easier to maintain. (And the same goes for "sexual criminals", should that be created.)
(I see the subcat "Sex offenders" here -- but that's a term which for me has a more restricted meaning.)
At present, we have in this category pages for: people who commit sex crimes (Robert Chambers); people who track and arrest the perps (Linda Fairstein); people who write about sex crimes (Catherine MacKinnon); people who are the victims of sex crimes (Ryan Alan Hade). I think a more systematic approach is needed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CPWinter (talk • contribs) 22:26, July 14, 2006

[edit] Sex Crimes Register in Europe
There is a police register for sexual offenders in the UK . This is fed into the Sex Offenders database in Europe. There needs to be awareness as to the UK Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and how this UK sex offenders registration system will change and fit into the EU criminal justice system.
