This user's activities on Wikipedia have been restricted by illegal[1], unreasonable[2], and arbitrary[3] ArbCom restrictions [4] and enforcement[5][6][7].

This user account is a bot operated by SEWilco (talk). It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it.

• June 19, 2005: Account created, bot testing begun.
  • First task: Populating country template arrays for Wikipedia:WikiProject Flag Template.
    • Starting from United Nations list. Downloaded templates which point to flags. Built database of names, flags, and abbreviations.
    • Template array being initialized by bot which does nothing if a template exists, and uses usual putPage delays (currently configured to 61 seconds).
• June 23, 2005: Most UN countries initialized. Various sources combined. Initialized table for finding ISO codes when a country name is known. Filling in gaps. (SEWilco 04:18, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC))
• June 24, 2005: All ISO countries defined. All non-obsolete FIFA countries defined. List of FIFA country codes converted to {{country}} format. Next will do conversion of existing ISO templates (ie, United Nations member states list) with 120-second put_throttle. (SEWilco 02:55, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC))
