Rob Ferguson (born November 7 1968) is a visionary British entertainment consultant, whose contacts and influences are known to connect the worlds of music, celebrity, politics and crime.
Rob Ferguson has met and worked with many music industry luminaries spanning decades and genres. Some notable names include George Harrison, Pete Townshend, John Entwhistle, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden, The Spice Girls, Robbie Williams and many many more. Rob was personal manager to both Matt Goss and Luke Goss from teen sensation band Bros. Rob is personally credited on dozens of successful albums and singles from the 1980's to the present day.
He is featured in a number of real crime books including 2 by notorious East End gangster Reggie Kray and more recently in books by modern gangster turned celebrity Dave Courtney. Rob took a number of celebrities to meet Reggie Kray in prison including, ironically the Fun Lovin Criminals. An album featuring many music celebrities supporting Reg's campaign for release was planned but never materialized, although an album featuring Reg reciting his poetry was finished just before his death. In April 2000 Rob was pictured in the funeral cortege of Charlie Kray, in the car with him was 'Mad' Frankie Fraser
Rob is known to have had private meetings with Lord Jeffrey Archer in May 2006 at his London residence but little is known about why Ferguson and Archer met or what they were discussing. Other Ferguson friends and allies make up a bizarre who's who of celebrity and include Marco Pierre White, Ville Valo and Freddie Starr!
Rob is also noted for having designed sound systems for some of London's most exclusive nightclubs and hangouts of the rich and famous. These include Sugar Reef, Embassy Mayfair, Titanic, Quo Vadis and Red Cube.
Rob is currently majority owner and runs the Transcend Media Group. He has personally influenced the resurgence of cult Gothic Rock band Fields of the Nephilim who are once again playing to sold out crowds around Europe. Transcend have also achieved chart success with new bands Belisha (band) and The Conspirators.
The current Transcend rosta includes , Sacred Mother Tongue, The More I See, The Dellas, The Voices, and Belisha (band), Fields of the Nephilim and The Conspirators.
Transcend are also the management behind the resurgence of folk rock legend Judy Dyble bringing luminary names into the Transcend connection base such as Robert Fripp, and Richard Thompson (musician)
