- Error correction: Ochoa did not attend Málaga College and obtain a BA degree in 1921, as such a place has never existed. The first University level institution in Málaga was the Colegio Universitario, a branch of the Universidad de Granada, that operated from 1970 until 1972, when the Universidad de Málaga was created. In 1921 Ochoa obtained a Bachiller degree (baccalaureate=senior high school diploma) from the Instituto Provincial de Málaga, founded in 1846 and in Ochoa's time, the only high school in Málaga. After the Spanish Civil War in 1939 the Instituto Provincial was split by sexes and the Instituto Provincial Masculino was eventually moved in 1961 to the current location of IES Nuestra Señora de la Victoria, where there is a plaque honoring Ochoa.
I moved this section from the bottom of this article. I'm checking it's truthfulnes. Sayeth 19:41, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
