[edit] "Рок-посевы" is not "Rock the Seva way"...

The name "Рок-Посевы" sure has a complex mix of meanings, and "Рок по Севе"---'Rock the Seva way' is one of them. But as a Russian native speaker I don't perceive it this way. "Рок-Посевы" is "Rock'n'Roll Sowing", a pun on Soviet propaganda news headlines, where they always told about great progress in sowing, harvesting, coal mining and such a things. As rock'n'roll was prohibited, the name "Rock Sowing" sounded like sacrilege.

The same is with "Севаоборот" --- slightly changed "cевооборот" --- 'rotation of crops', a progressive agricultural method, another favourite theme of Soviet newspapers and radio news of the time...

I think this could be briefly explained in the article, but I'm not very confident with (or in?) my English :)--IPonomarev (talk) 09:43, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
