Seven of Wands is a Minor Arcana tarot card.

Tarot cards are used throughout much of Europe to play Tarot card games[1].

In English-speaking countries, where the games are largely unknown, Tarot cards came to be utilized primarily for divinatory purposes[1][2].

[edit] Divination Usage

Usually this card carries the meaning of fighting over one's position, putting out the effort to keep something which is important. Note the superior position of the character.

[edit] Rider-Waite symbolism

  • The person appears in a defensive pose against the other wands prodding in his direction, looking stressed-out, but firm.
  • He appears to stand on a mount, which may symbolise his strong footing.
