Seven Star Mountain (traditional Chinese: 七星山; pinyin: Qīxīngshān; Wade-Giles: Cīsīngshān; literally "Seven Star Mountain") is the highest volcano in Yangmingshan National Park, Taipei, Taiwan with an elevation of 1,120 m (3,675 ft), it is also an extinct. Mt. Chihsing is the highest peak in the Tatun Volcano Group. Because Mt. Chihsing's main and subordinate peaks are in the form of the Chinese character for "mountain," it is especially majestic and easy to recognize. Located in the center of Yangmingshan National Park, Mt. Chihsing is the highest peak in the administrative area of Taipei City.
