Settimo Milanese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 km west of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,853 and an area of 10.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Settimo Milanese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Vighignolo, Seguro, Villaggio Cavour, and Cascine olona. In the industrial district of Castelletto, the sites of some important Italian industries such as Italtel and STMicroelectronics are present.
Settimo Milanese borders the following municipalities: Rho, Milan, Cornaredo, Cusago.
