[edit] 2005-06 in Portuguese rink hockey
Someone tagged the article as non-notable. It is obviously notable, since rink hockey is a major sport in Portugal. I've contacted the user and removed the tag. Keep your good work. By the way, visit Portal:Portugal and give your help. Include rink hockey related articles in the "to do" list, if you want. Cheers! Afonso Silva 19:14, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Boas vindas
[edit] Bom trabalho

Thanks for the kind words. There was was one section in Portuguese I hid (inside <!-- --> tags) instead of removing it. Could you check if there was anything important? - Skysmith 13:55, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Football Article Improvement Drive
You left your comment in the right place. Are there any articles you had in mind for improvement? Anyone can nominate an article, just follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. Each Sunday, the article with most votes is the one selected. You can vote for as many or as few articles as you like. Oldelpaso 15:34, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Superliga Results
Just to say that the results table you replaced on the Superliga page looks perfect using every browser except Firefox. Its only on firefox that the names along the top are shown horizontally instead of Vertically. Table itself is perfect and prob looks better than the one you are using at present. Niall123 20:58, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Just pointing out that this is what the table looks like when I'm using Internet Explorer. [1] Niall123 23:20, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] G14
The problem with the G14 template is only temporary as I change all the club pages. Please give me another 5 minutes. I'm changing the template to be joinable to other templates used by Serie A and the Premier League. Niall123 23:37, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Partly my fault. Should have done the club pages first for the extra coding. Check out the bottom of the AC Milan page to see what I'm doing. You can also use the template seperately by using the 2 tags "fb start" and "fb end" around it. Its the way all the templates for Premier League and Serie A are going. Looks better IMO. [edit] Michael Schumacher
My advice is to place a hold-on tag on the article, and I will ask an administrator to take a look. ---Charles 18:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
I deleted the article Responses to Michael Schumacher's retirement. This just seems like a long list of quotes, conflicting with Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. I think you could edit the main article just to say "Many important people, such as ___ and ___, commmented on his retirement" without actually including all the quotes verbatim. Thanks, NawlinWiki 18:14, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Could the quotes, which are retrivable from older versions of the Michael Schumacher article, could go to Wikiquote, which seems to be designed for this kind of thing? 4u1e
[edit] Schumacher
Good work on Schumacher - how do you feel about others editing it? I've got some ideas, but the easiest thing is probably to implement them. :) --4u1e 06:42, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'll have a go then, although it probably won't be this evening now. I'll warn you now, some of my ideas will make it rather shorter- I'll try and do it in such a way that it is easily reversible! Cheers. --4u1e 16:37, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm just having a go at it now. Cheers. --4u1e 07:33, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- OK - I'm done. Mostly editing for length, rather than neutrality - where I think you've done a very good job. I'm wondering now whether, in the context of Schumacher's overall career, the 1998 British GP is noteworthy enough to mention here? What do you think? Feel free to revert my changes by the way - happy to discuss and start again if you wish. Good work on the main article too - looking much better now. --4u1e 08:12, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough - I was working from the view that if we need to get it shorter, it usually easier to over do it and then add stuff back in - gives us a better perspective on what's important. Let's see how it does down in the article! Cheers. --4u1e 09:45, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for that, I didn't realise they were serving different purposes. And no, two is not too much, four is overkill though! Best regards -- Mark83 18:24, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Team Orders
I think there must be a better source to cite - not that I've found one yet. The thing is, team orders weren't unequivocally banned - the rule says something like "team orders which affect the outcome of a race". -- Ian Dalziel 12:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Why isn't that reference good? It is about the fact that team orders were banned after the two incidents with the ferraris in 2002, in Austria and USA. If you read the reference well, you'll see "The rule forbidding teams from determining the finish of their drivers resulted from Ferrari instructing Barrichello to let five-time champion chumacher pass him to win the Austrian Grand Prix earlier this year, and Barrichello winning the U.S. Grand Prix when Schumacher slowed down in a bid for a dead-heat finish.". This proves what is stated in the article. I think if something has to change, is the wikipedia article to match the reference, not the opposite. Cheers--Serte 13:32, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Football table templates
There are a number of issues with that template:
- There are no obvious benefits, as the table syntax is pretty simple already.
- The colours should be parametrised, not part of the name of each template.
- Standardised columns prevents extra information being added to the table later, such as a 'notes' column.

[edit] Brabham
On the basis of taking a short break from Schumacher, I'm taking another stab at my pet project: Brabham Racing Organisation.
I'm too close to it to see it's faults, would you mind having a look and either editing or commenting on any improvements it needs. I'm thinking of putting it up for FA shortly.
Cheers. 4u1e 13:38, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PMs Template
Excellent work, but should we not include António de Spínola and/or the National Salvation Junta before Palma Carlos? I did after all do something similar with Template:PortuguesePresidents. Biruitorul 06:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if that's what the list says, then let's stick with it. I think I may put the Junta in parentheses right before Palma Carlos, just to indicate that someone was in fact heading the Portuguese government during those three exciting weeks in spring 1974. Biruitorul 10:51, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- It looks fine. Thank you. Biruitorul 11:09, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Platini translation
My French is fairly basic, but I had a go at translating the Saint Etienne section in your sandbox. Its paraphrased in places, the bit I'm most unsure of is using mixed in place of bilan mitigé. Oldelpaso 11:45, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Michael Schumacher Statistsic
Hi, I realized you have improved a contribution that 84.50.171.2 has made in regards to Michael Schumacher's perfermance in 1991 - 1993. 84.50.171.2 has also made a change to the number of GP for Michael Schumacher, and it seems like you had no trouble with it. However, according to the official formula 1 website, his GP is 250, not 249. Did you just happen to overlooked or is it really 249, in which I should not keep reverting it back to 250? --Cyktsui 00:45, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Not a problem. I am just worried that I have reverted something that I shouldn't have reverted. You have been excellent of making the article getting into GA standard! -Cyktsui 21:52, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] BWINLIGA mix up
sorry about that, i know the stats were completely wrong, i had taken the template from another league an just re-entered the correct stats, i guess when u saw the incorrect table, i was still re-entering them, i'm actually finished now, i finished just about the same time u sent me that message, have a look BWINLIGA 2006-07...also i'm trying to make the top 2 division in the por. football system separate articles, one for BWINLIGA, and one for league of honour Muppeteer
[edit] BWINLIGA 2006-07 article
Hey, thanks for the complement. But regarding the BWINLIGA article, thats all i feel like doing for today, i'll do the rest tomorrow, but if u or anyone else u know wants to finish it off be my guest. Also i had a question: do u know how to make a new template each for the BWINLIGA seasons and the Liga de Honra seasons?. ciao
[edit] Colorado Avalanche
WPTP has made it quite clear, that the section is to be named Honored Members (only). It's makes it clear as well, the Honored Members section is to be made up of the Hall of Famers and Retired Numbers (only). PLEASE stop going against the WikiProject's desires, I'm certain (someday) both Sakic and Forsberg will enter the HHOF & have their numbers retired, be patient. Besides Sakic & Forsberg's accomplishment are already mention at the Franchise records section and Sakic's captaincy tenure is shown at the Team Captains section. GoodDay 16:29, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for my attitude, forgive me for being an asshole. You're correct about my barking at you. If I'd had used my brain more, I would have notice it was an anon-user who (first) added Sakic & Forsberg. Still, that's not a good excuse for my 'hot headed' behaviour. Again, I'm sorry for offending you. PS- I'm keeping your posting (at my page) intact, as a reminder to myself to 'read the history' of a page more carefully and curb my 'passions'. [edit] Notability of Airo
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Airo, by Hbdragon88, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Airo seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Airo, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Airo itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Colorado Avalanche draft picks
Hey, just wanted to let you know I'm amazed at the effort you put into the list, I just don't think it's quite up to snuff, because you can't use the same style as the player list. Take a look at my sandbox page.. I started working on this well before you nominated the Colorado page (coincidentally, I'm working on a list of NJ Devils players that I'm now basing off your featured Colorado list that I had also started before your nomination). I think for draft picks, it's best to separate them by draft year, with links to each individual draft year. Also, it's key to include notes about if any picks were traded. I'm basing this somewhat off the featured lists of football first-round draft picks (here and here). If you want to change it to work with my suggestions, let me know and I'll help you out. At any rate, nice job on all the hard work you've been doing lately, and please don't take my comments as anything other than positive critiques. Anthony Hit me up... 14:21, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- I think it's a good idea to get an idea of where the WikiProject wants to go with it, because whatever gets featured will set the standard for the rest of the teams (see New Jersey Devils and all the precedents it has set). We want to do this right the first time so we don't have to go back later and say "well, now we want it this way, so let's fix it". I'll post this for discussion at the project talk page & see what people have to say about it. Anthony Hit me up... 15:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- I know, it's just that when I first started on Wikipedia, I got into some heated arguments with people because one or both of us took critiques personally, so I'm a little gun-shy about stuff like that. I know you know I'm not ragging on you, it's just a reflexive defense thing, lol. Anthony Hit me up... 11:53, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- BTW, started working in my sandbox on converting the Avs draft picks over; User:FutureNJGov/sandbox/Avsdraft is where it's at. You can just copy & paste if/when you start working on it. I've got 1995 done so far; I'll do the others as I can. Anthony Hit me up... 23:14, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Metclub logo.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Metclub logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:05, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Ice Hockey Newsletter Dear Serte! You are receiving this newsletter because you have signed up as a member of WikiProject Ice Hockey. The purpose of this newsletter is to update on the goings on of the project, as there have been major changes, and a lot of new recognized content in the past few weeks. Article Improvement By Maxim Upon some discussion on the WikiProject talk page, the Article Improvement Drive page was revamped by Krm500 and Maxim. It was renamed Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Article Improvement, and it includes two section. The first section is called articles in dire need of improvement. It list articles, usually important, that are in very poor shape. The second section is called requested help. Users list an article they request help improving a certain article, which will facilitate collaboration, which is the aim of any WikiProject. There is one article currently listed there, Henrik Lundqvist, here. The goal is to at least get it to Good article status. edit
Diacritics By Maxim In the past few weeks, there has been quite heated discussion about the use of diacritics in article name. The current guideline is using diacritics in the pages of articles of all player names which require them, but redirects are exempt. edit
Task forces By Maxim This task force was initiated by Krm500. Its current goal is to improve Henrik Lundqvist to Good or Featured article status. It covers all Swedish clubs, leagues and competitions and associated articles, players and coaches that are Swedish, or have played/coached for a Swedish club, and arenas in Sweden. They plan to eventually operate as a sort of a sub-project, which will have its own articles for creation, ranking importance and quality of articles, and co-ordinate article improvement. Its current members are Krm500, Bamsefar75, and CLAES. This task force was initiated by Bsroiaadn. Its goal is to improve New Jersey Devils to Featured Topic status. Although it currently meets the required article count, the task force wishes to improve it further. Its area of coverage is very similar to the Sweden Ice Hockey task force. Its members are Bsroiaadn, JHMM13, FutureNJGov, Sportskido8, Michael Greiner, JRWalko, and Soxrock. edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Communic.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. - Thanks for your support. - PeeJay 17:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Enter Sandman
I've replied to your comment - I think you mistook my comment. I said nominated, not win. Motorhead have been nominated twice for a Grammy due to a Metallica cover, and won the second time with "Whiplash". The first time, they were nominated for "Enter Sandman" and lost out to Black Sabbath - says here. LuciferMorgan 14:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Ajviana.JPG
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Ajviana.JPG. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:11, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] James Milner Off the pitch section
Over the past few weeks I’ve been researching desperately to try and expand this section. But for the most part I can only find very trivial facts. Another user has told me that off the pitch sections are not mandatory and in this case it would be best to remove it completely. I’m not so sure, however minor his off the pitch activities might be it would be useful to give an idea of what he’s like as a person.
Please give me your views. Should it be expanded, removed completely or charged in some other way. Please give your views in the Milner Off the pitch section on my talk page. Buc 16:41, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:JamesHetfieldEnterSandmanVideo.jpg.

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Featured Topic Drive
Hi, I was wondering what your status was with the project. We are very close - there are only 3 unclaimed articles left - and if we all work at it, we could be ready for an FTC by November. Thanks for the time, Scorpion0422 22:47, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- It looks good and I think it's ready to go. One small note, you should expand the lead a little (just copy what I did with the Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy and list the trophys namesake and the most recent winner and his points totals). So, you can go ahead and nominate it as soon as you're ready. I also have the Jennings ready for an FLC but I'll wait a day because I think we should start staggering the nominations a little - the FLC regulars got mad at us when we had 7 trophy FLCs all at the same time, and they still get a little angry every time we nominate a page, but there's nothing that can be done about that. -- Scorpion0422 22:53, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Much better, good job. -- Scorpion0422 23:09, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- One thing I just thought of - it might not hurt to list all of the players who won the Hart and Art Ross in the same season as well as those that completed the Hart/Art Ross/Pearson sweep. Just follow the model I used for listing double winners on this page. As well, you should note that Bobby Orr is the only defenceman to ever win the Art Ross. -- Scorpion0422 23:27, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

There have been no new good articles or featured articles. Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy has been given A-Class status due to multiple issues raised at FLC.

...that Wally Tatomir, head equipment manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, holds four patents on ice hockey-related equipment?
...that ice hockey player Mark Major attained 355 penalty minutes during the 1997-98 AHL season for the Portland Pirates, where he averaged 4.5 penalty minutes a game and still holds the club record?
...that Garth Butcher was a member of Canada's first-ever gold medal team at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships before becoming a pest and setting team records for penalty minutes in the National Hockey League?

Featured Topic Drive By Maxim Started by User:Scorpion0422, the aim of this drive is to make NHL awards a featured topic. A featured topic is basically a set of very high quality articles (good articles and featured articles/lists). In this case, the topic is NHL awards. Many users have helped, including Scorpion0422, Resolute, Serte, Hasek is the best, Maxim, Croat Canuck, Spike Wilbury, FutureNJGov, and T Rex/Dinosaur puppy. The progress has been very good; there are 12 featured lists promoted, and 2 good articles:
Check the project page if you are interested in helping out. Although it's closer to being done than not, there's still work to be done. The next topic that might be tackled is Stanley Cup, but this remains purely speculative and in discussion. |

Congratulations, Serte. I've promoted Art Ross Trophy to a featured list. This is the most succesful FLC during the drive, IMHO. Nothing but supports. Cheers! --Maxim(talk) 00:38, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] FL Main page proposal
You either nominated a WP:FLC or closed such a nomination recently. As such, you are the type of editor whose opinion I am soliciting. We now have over 400 featured lists and seem to be promoting in excess of 30 per month of late (41 in August and 42 in September). When Today's featured article (TFA) started (2004-02-22), they only had about 200 featured articles and were barely promoting 20 new ones per month. I think the quality of featured lists is at least as good as the quality of featured articles was when they started appearing on the main page. Thus, I am ready to open debate on a proposal to institute a List of the Day on the main page with nominations starting November 1, 2007, voting starting December 1, 2007 and main page appearances starting January 1, 2008. For brevity, the proposal page does not discuss the details of eventual main page content, but since the work has already been done, you should consider this proposal assuming the eventual content will resemble the current content at the featured content page. Such output would probably start at the bottom of the main page. The proposal page does not debate whether starting with weekly list main page entries would be better than daily entries. However, I suspect persons in favor of weekly lists are really voicing opinions against lists on the main page since neither TFA nor Picture of the day started as weekly endeavors, to the best of my knowledge. Right now debate seems to be among support for the current selective democratic/consensus based proposal, a selective dictatorial approach like that used at WP:TFA or a non-selective first in line/calendar approach like that used at WP:POTD. See the List of the Day proposal and comment at WP:LOTDP and its talk page.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 19:25, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Colorado Avalanche
About a year ago, I had given up removing Lefevbre from the captains section, because another editor persisted in adding him back. I'm sure glad he's (Lefevbre) removed for good. GoodDay 18:43, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] LOTD proposal
You have nominated a recently successful WP:FL. There have been two recent proposals to begin a List of the Day feature on the main page, which have both received majorities but have not been approved as overwhelming support sufficient to change the main page. WP:LOTDP is a new proposal to try to get the ball rolling based on the original proposal. You can voice your thoughts on its talk page. Basically, what the proposal entails is attempting to run an official trial, and then vote after the trial run on whether to change the main page. Support to run a trial requires much less consensus than support to change the main page. Should we succeed at eventually getting such a feature on the main page it would tentatively look like this. Whether or not you support an experimental trial or not you should come discuss the matter at WP:LOTDP's talk page. I apologize if you have either already voiced your opinion on this matter or already tired of hearing about it.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:35, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Featured List of the Day Experiment
There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. You may submit multiple lists for consideration.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:LOTD) 17:28, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Better source request for Image:Gil_Vicente_FC_Novo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gil_Vicente_FC_Novo.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. OsamaK (talk) 19:51, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Enter Sandman CE
Hi Serte,
I noticed your request a while back on LOCE for a ce of Enter Sandman. I also left a comment on the article's talk page, but I was wondering if you would be available for input as I go through a copyedit of the article? With a pretty impressive list of sources and already a GA, I think it's got a lot of FP potential. --Malachirality (talk) 19:32, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
- I am waiting for you to incorporate "Accolades" into the "Reception and Release" section and, if possible, to address the concerns brought up under the copyedit section on the talk page. Once you have reworked accolades and/or the other issues, I will finish the ce and pass it on to proofreading. --Malachirality (talk) 06:48, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Betandwin topo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Betandwin topo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:37, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Ice Hockey Newsletter Dear Serte! You are receiving as you are a member of WikiProject Ice Hockey There's been many more new things going on at WP:HOCKEY, and I think this will help you to stay informed. Since the last newsletter sent out in October, there have been many new changes. Task forces By Maxim There was a new taskforce created within the WikiProject to deal with topics related to the Boston Bruins. It was originally founded as a separate WikiProject, but was quickly turned into a taskforce within WikiProject Ice Hockey. The list of participants is located here. Located at WP:BRUINS, the taskforce's goals are to make Boston Bruins and Bobby Orr featured articles. Good luck! edit
New Administrators By Maxim
A previously admin-only feature has been made available for all users. The rollback feature allows a user to quickly revert vandalism with one click. If you wish to have rollback, contact an active admin or post a request to WP:RFR. edit
Featured Topic Drive By Maxim The original featured topic drive, initiated by Scorpion0422, has concluded succesfully. National Hockey League awards is now a featured topic, with 24 articles in total. Of them, 20 are featured lists, one is a featured article, and the other three are trophy articles that were too short to become featured lists. Eight users signed up to help out, shown here. The next Featured Topic hasn't been decided upon, and the ideas and organization for it fell apart. If you have any ideas, don't hesitate to share them at WT:HOCKEY. edit

[edit] Paul Stastny additions
Hi, I saw that you were working on this article and had fixed all of the GA reviewers concerns except the lead. I expanded the lead so that it fit the reviewer's length requirements. I thought that it would be worthwhile to mention that he comes from a large hockey family, so I added that. I also added a sentence about his international play, as the lead is supposed to summarize every section of the article. I hope these changes are okay. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Eusebio.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eusebio.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
