[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Dear Sergiodlarosa: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.

One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!  --Margareta 19:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Seconded. Please stop. The photographs are enormous, and they make the page impossible to load or read. JasonGodesky 20:24, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Rewilding, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. [edit] License tagging for Image:Casting herb.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Casting herb.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:09, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Sergiodlarosa "Casting herb.jpg" This work was created entirely by Sergio De la Rosa and I offer it so that it is shown in texts of rewilding * in the wikipedia web page. Sergiodlarosa

[edit] Confirm image source

You have uploaded a great number of images who all appear to come from the book Rewilding North America. I hope you understand you don't hold the copyright to these images by just adding your name to them. Can you please confirm again you are the author of the following images? / Mats Halldin (talk) 20:34, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Sergiodlarosa 23:56, 14 July 2007 (UTC) All and each one of the previous works (images.jpg), were created entirely by Sergio De la Rosa and I (the author) offer it so that it is shown in texts of rewilding * or bears * in the wikipedia web page.
Thanks

Muchos gracias Sergio,
Hablo uno o dos palabras de español pero no puedo escribar mucho. These images are discussed on Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 July 12#Image:Ososspecies.jpg, so please answer there instead. Please also note my advice to read Traducción no oficial de la Licencia de documentación libre de GNU to make sure you understand what it means to release your images on Wikipedia.
Gracias

OK, thanks. The subject of copyrights to me becomes somewhat confused at the time of cataloguing it in some of the terms. I only chose of the list the one that seemed to me the best option. I believe that the barrier of the language also has much to do. I understand that it is better than the image does not have text (please point me if I am mistaken). I believe that I do not have much problem with that. I have not shown in any book or magazines my illustrations, and I dont work for any Institution but the wild life is my passion and the Rewilding North America is project is very interesting and hopeful in my opinion. Soon I shipment other images for diferent texts and the update of which already you can see. thank you for its "signallings". I hope that the following images also are interesting for you and useful in Wikipedia.

[edit] Imagens

[edit] Canines

Hi Sergiodlarosa, I love your images. I just need you to me a favor. Make a portrait of all the canid (or canine species) like you did with the cats and bears.--4444hhhh (talk) 01:52, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't have an e-mail account. Ask another user though.--4444hhhh (talk) 20:47, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
