I am a grad student at UC San Diego, studying computational linguistics. My interest is mostly in computational models of discourse structure and psycholinguistic processes, but anything applying math to linguistics is cool. I was formerly at San Diego State University, also studying comp-ling, and at UC Santa Barbara, as a student of linguistics and physics.
I grew up on the Llanos of Colombia, but I'm otherwise United Statan. That is, I am Columbian rather than Colombian.
I also know some Chinese, and something of Chinese history and art.
