Article policies

Servicio De Lavanderia is an album by Shakira, released in 2001. This album was an international smash. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 3 million copies in the U.S. alone, and over 13 million copies worldwide.

The album is Shakira's first in the English language. The lyrics of some of the songs are a little bizarre, which has led to some criticism [1], like an MADtv sketch. Even songs in Spanish such as "Suerte" (Spanish version of "Whenever, Wherever") have strange lyrics, but somehow the album managed to top the charts all over the world.

Servicio De Lavanderia is the Latin American version of Laundry Service.

[edit] Merge, Spanish title, etc.

Servicio de lavandería, Laundry Service and Laundry Service: Washed & Dried are different editions of the same recording session. All three should be merged to one single article.

Again, the Manual of Style clearly states that "capital letters are sometimes a matter of regional differences....If possible, as with spelling, use rules appropriate to the cultural and linguistic context; in other words, do not enforce American rules on pages about English or Australian topics or British rules on pages about American topics." Spanish titles should be edited. The page should be moved from Servicio de Lavandería to Servicio de lavandería.

English translations of Spanish titles are both unnecessary and clumsy. - Oskarg956 07:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
