I added a little sentence about him being 3rd in playoff scoring during the 90's.

I believe last sentence of paragraph 4 is opinion and should be deleted: ('However, Fedorov's production as of late has never reached the levels posted in Detroit, and he has lost the superstar status he enjoyed during his days with the Red Wings'). Fedorov's numbers in 2005–2006 season (12–32–44), while lower than other years, took place in 67 games, many of which he was playing through groin, hand, back and shoulder pain. It should also be noted that his role on 05/06 line with Rick Nash and Nik Zherdev was defensive minded. In current 06/07 season, Fedorov has 13–15–28 in 33 games, on mark with many season totals in Detroit.

I also feel paragraph 5 is slanderous and should be deleted: ('Throughout the latter stages of his career, Fedorov has been criticized for egotism, greed, and lack of a team-player ethic. In 1998, he held out in contract negotiations for more than half the season, only rejoining the team when offered a record-large contract. After the 2002–2003 season, Fedorov again held out on negotiations, making claims that he should be the Red Wings` franchise player. This time, the issue was not settled, leading to his departure to Anaheim').

'egotism, greed, and lack of a team-player ethic': I think he means to say people in Detroit don't like Fedorov for leaving Detroit; but contract negotiations aside, I strongly feel these terms do not adequately define Sergei Fedorov as a hockey player.

Fedorov playing on defense in Columbus might be new, but it's not a recent development in his career. He played defense from time to time in Detroit as well.
