Can someone tell me why exactly cruelty? At worst its a place to have sex in... just not cruelty. I'll change that... LeinaD natipaC 16:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

"At worst its a place to have sex"? Let's see, the women in the harem were generally slaves as were the attendants who probably did not volunteer to be castrated. Isn't it at least possible there was cruelty involved?
