Servet Çetin (born March 17, 1981 in Tuzluca-Iğdır Province, Turkey), is a footballer playing for the side Galatasaray at the central defender position. He has also been a member of the Turkey national football team. He is 1.91 meters tall and weighs 84 kilograms.[1] He is of Azeri descent.

He became a professional football player in 1999. He was Fenerbahçe S.K.'s player when Fenerbahçe S.K. had won League Champions in 2004 and 2005. Servet was transferred from Fenerbahçe S.K. to Sivasspor in August 2006 as a free agent. He signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray S.K. on April 15, 2007.

At the start of his Galatasaray career, he was heavily criticized for his susceptibility for making critical mistakes on the pitch. With his towering physique and strength he is capable of winning almost every header but his weakness on one-on-ones, especially against above average fast players, was apparent. After settling into the team and under the tutelage of Karl-Heinz Feldkamp, Servet's play improved immensely and he managed to become a favourite of Galatasaray fans shortly thereafter. Servet's consistently shows a desire to give all he has on the pitch and this has played a major role in the fans accepting him as a favorite. For his height and strength, Galatasaray fans call him Ayibogan which literally means; a man who could choke a bear.
