Serverlan Chat Network is a IRC based network that caters to not-for-profit organizations, and corporations in need of real time, secured IRC communications.

Serverlan was created by two friends in March of 2008. Serverlan is advertised as a general topic honeypot for an array of topics. Serverlan IRC is COPPA compliant and welcomes parents to visit if they have young teens utilizing the network. As of May 2008, Serverlan has a staff of four.

Serverlan Chat Network utilizes industry standard AES 256 encryption for secure connections to its central IRC server. Serverlan utilizes advanced encryption software to encrypt its data files making any personally identifiable information that it stores, useless to unauthorized personnel.

Serverlan utilizes the latest stable releases of UnrealIRCd and Anope Services for IRC. There is currently one Services server connected to the IRC server.
