Serravalle Scrivia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 25 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,073 and an area of 16.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Serravalle Scrivia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Crenna inferiore, Crenna superiore, and Libarna.

Serravalle Scrivia borders the following municipalities: Arquata Scrivia, Cassano Spinola, Gavi, Novi Ligure, Stazzano, and Vignole Borbera.
