Sermoneta is a hill town and comune in the province of Latina (Lazio), central Italy.
It is a walled hill town, with a 13th-century Romanesque cathedral and a massive castle, built by the Caetani family.
Sermoneta is the hometown of the humanist Aldo Manuzio and the baroque painter Antonio Cavallucci.
The film "Roseanna's Grave" (1997, US Title, directed by Paul Weiland, staring Jean Reno and Mercedes Ruehl) was filmed on location in Sermoneta.
