Serkan Çalik, (born 15 March 1986 in Dinslaken, West Germany) is a German footballer of Turkish descent . He plays for Galatasaray S.K..
He is a forward and wears the 61 shirt which is the car number plate location codes for Trabzon, Turkey, where his parents from.[citation needed] During his days at Galatasaray SK, he has been used as a right winger by Galatasaray SK coach Karl Heinz Feldkamp, as he has a very good acceleration and pace.

He plays for Turkish giant Galatasaray SK, after arriving from Rot-Weiss Essen (2. Fußball-Bundesliga) in June 2007.

Çalik has dual Turkish-German nationality, he was eligible for either national team. After he made his debut for German U-21 squad in 2007, he stated he have a wish to change in nationality and play for Turkey in January 2008, 10 months after his 21st birthday. He refused any future call-up from Germany. But FIFA statutes stated that such change must applied before the 21th birthday for those who already played in youth teams, his application would not be accepted.
