Sergio Volpi (born February 2, 1974 in Orzinuovi) is an Italian footballer. He plays as a midfielder (a deep lying playmaker and an accurate passer), for Bologna F.C. 1909
He has previously played for S.S.C. Venezia and Piacenza Calcio. He was the captain of U.C. Sampdoria too.
He signed a new contracteuntil summer 2008 with Sampdoria in 2006.[1]
He made his international debut in 2004, aged 30.
