Sergio Alejandro Santana Piedra (born August 10, 1979 in Rio Grande, Zacatecas) is a Mexican Footballer currently playing for Chivas de Guadalajara.

Sergio debuted in the Primera División de México with CF Pachuca in May 07, 2000 in a match against Toluca. Sergio played with CF Pachuca for close to five years, from 2000-2005. He was transferred to Chivas de Guadalajara for the Clausura 2006 Tournament at the end of 2005. Sergio is known as a utility player for Chivas, he is a very versatile player, playing as a Forward, Striker, Center Attacking Midfielder, and even as a Defensive Midfielder on some occasions.

Santana was called for his services in the Mexican national team in a game against China on April 16, 2008 making his 7th appearance since Ricardo LaVolpe called him for El Tri.
