Sergio Romero (born February 22, 1987 in Bernardo de Irigoyen, Misiones) is an Argentine football player. He currently plays for AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands.
Romero moved in 2007 for around 1.5million euros from Racing to AZ. [1].
Romero represented Argentina at the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay and at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, which Argentina went on to win.
