Sergio Benedetti

Sergio Benedetti is an Italian art historian and formerly Senior Conservator of the National Gallery of Ireland.

He is best known for his rediscovery of the Baroque masterpiece, The Taking of Christ by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio in the early 1990’s.
