Sergey Koksharov

Sergey Ivanovich Koksharov (Сергей Иванович Кокшаров) is a Russian firearms designer working for the Kovrov Machinebuilding Plant (Ковровский Механический Завод). He is most well known for his rifle design, the AEK-971, having variants for either 5.45 mm or 7.62 mm Soviet rounds.
