Sergey Dmitriev (Russian: Сергей Игоревич Дмитриев; born March 19, 1964) is a former Russian footballer.
During his career he played for Dynamo Leningrad (1981 - 1982), Zenit Leningrad (1982 - 1988, 1995 - 1996, 1998 - 1999), Dynamo Moscow (1989), CSKA Moscow (1989 - 1990, 1991), and VfL Bochum (1992 - 1993).
He earned 6 caps for the USSR national football team, and participated in UEFA Euro 1988. On 15 April 2007 Brunei National football announced that Dmitriev will have the position as Bruneian coach. As in May 2008, he was the coach of Brunei. He would improve the formation of the team, technique, and the strategy that they use.He wanted the Brunei team to be qualify in 2008 ASEAN Football Championship .
