Sergei Ivanovich Ovchinnikov (Russian: Сергей Иванович Овчинников) (born October 11, 1970 in Moscow) or Boss is a football (soccer) goalkeeper who played for the Russian national team and last represented Dynamo Moscow.
Previously he played for Benfica and Porto, before coming back to Russia in 2002 to play for Lokomotiv Moscow. The goalkeeper played two matches for Russia in Euro 2004 but was sent off in the match against Portugal for handling outside the area. The incident led to a fan confronting the goalkeeper.
In 2006 Dynamo Moscow (which he had joined after leaving Lokomotiv) released Ovchinnikov, after the goalkeeper got involved in a clash with a referee. In January 2007 he, alongside another former Russia national goalkeeper Ruslan Nigmatullin joined Lokomotiv Moscow's board.
