Sergei Borisovich Kalitin (Russian: Сергей Борисович Калитин, Sergej Borisovič Kalitin) is a Russian author of several historical novels.

Kalitin was born on June 9, 1960 into the family of a Soviet military serviceman. In 1981 he graduated from the Leningrad military transportation school, and has served in the Railroad Forces of the Soviet (later Russian) Army ever since. As of 2000 he is a lieutenant-colonel.

In 1994 Russia's military publisher, Voenizdat, published Kalitin's first novel, Chas volka (English: Hour of the Wolf). It describes the early years of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania under Mindaugas, as well as the wars of the Danes and Teutonic Knights against the Pskov and Novgorod Republics. Set against this background is the life of a pagan Lithuanian duke, Daumantas (Russian: Довмонт, Dovmont), who eventually becomes the Christian ruler of the Pskov Republic.

In 1997 the publishing house Novy Alyuom released his second historical novel, Neprimerimye. Currently Kalitin lives with his family in Moscow.
