Sergei Mikko Körleinen (b. 23 September 1972, Oulu) is a Finnish musician who plays in Kingdom of Reign.
The musician is openly Bisexual, which is further stated with his androgenous appearance. He was admitted to a mental institution in 1999 after suffering a nervous breakdown following the death of his long term partner, and fellow Noctosin band member, Juha-Pekka Autti. The band disbanded shortly afterwards and while the remaining members went on to pursue other projects, Körleinen dissappeared from the music scene for almost three years. After intense councilling, he eventually came to terms with his loss and married Tarja Varttinen, a nurse from Kemi. Around this time he was thinking about devoting his time to a folk metal project similar to that of Finntroll the band of his friend Tapio Wilska The end result was a Four piece group in which he played both guitar and violin, switching his instruments during live performances in quick succession, similar to that performed by Yoshiki in X Japan. However the band never surfaced out of obscurity and their only album; Struggle for Newfoundland flopped and was never released outside of Scandanavia.
After the split of Firenwoad Körleinen's mental state deterorated and he turned briefly to alcholism. He was arrested on June 21st, 2003 for drunken driving and was sentenced to 175 hours community service and ordered to attend an alcohol detox programme. His wife left him because of his conduct and for other disclosed reasons that same year, they divorced in 2004.
In 2005 the musician played session guitars for several local bands in his native Oulu and became friends with Samppa Alonen a bass player in "Sergeant Machine" a punk band. Samppa expressed his desires to play in a band that played a "mixture of industrial and power metal mixed with heavy keyboard riffs". Körleinen liked the idea and so Kingdom of Reign was formed. Samppa invited his childhood friend Anöla Tolkki who is Sergei's second wife to play keyboards, her brother Tero to play drums and Noctosin vocalist Yvette Paaoski to form the line up.
