This image is a screenshot from a copyrighted film, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by the studio which produced the film, and possibly also by any actors appearing in the screenshot. I, Howcheng, believe the use of this image in the article River Tam to be fair use under U.S. copyright law for the following reasons:

1. It is only a small portion of the entire copyrighted work (the film) as a whole and is even only a small portion of the single frame that is contained in the film.
2. Its purpose in the article is to identify the fictional character, which is different from the purpose of the original copyrighted work (to entertain an audience).
3. No free alternative exists or could possibly be created.
