[edit] unbalanced article

The Many inputs create inconsistencies section is overly extensive relative to the rest of the subject matter (or more accurately, there is a paucity of material defining what the value and content of sequence databases are). Better article would describe more of the general contents and the methodologies used in populating and managing sequence databases, their value and use in a wide range of biology research, and integration of sequence databases with other biological databases. Standards used, where the data is drawn from: high thruput experiments, sequencing centers, individual research projects, and the 'deposit to publish' agreement among journals that has help spur database submissions.
