SEQ Water
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SEQ Water is a public water utility owned by the Queensland Government and local councils. The regional body was setup in 2000, superseding the former South East Queensland Water Board.
SEQ Water owns and operates some of South East Queensland's most important reservoirs including the Wivenhoe Dam, Somerset Dam and North Pine Dam.
In 2007, SEQ Water reduced the supply of water to Tarong North Power Station as water restrictions worsened during the recent drought in Australia.
