This category was nominated for deletion, renaming', or merging with another category on 2007 December 7. The result of the discussion was 'merge Category:Sequences to Category:Sequences and series.

One way to differentiate this category from "Sequences" is to place the emphasis on the analysis of infinite sequences and series, whereas "Sequences" has a broader aim (and is a subcategory of mathematics, not of mathematical analysis). Geometry guy 20:29, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
